Director of Utility Services, Ben is responsible for transmission and distribution work in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. His daily responsibilities include line clearance, bid work, hazard tree mitigation programs, challenging tree work others turn away, crane work and specialty work. He also provides the utility with storm crews at a moment’s notice when mother nature is at her worst.
Ben graduated from high school and went on to CCRI graduating with an associate degree. He started working at Stanley Tree during this time and quickly developed a passion for tree work. In 99’, Ben joined the US Navy to serve his country. He became part of an elite company known as the Navy Seabees in Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 133 from 00’-04’. Ben served during different tours around the world including a tour in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a Seabee, he learned the importance of quality leadership, loyalty, reliability and honesty. Values he lives by every day. After an honorable discharge, Ben decided to go back and explore his interest of tree work; he made his way back home to Stanley Tree Service.
Ben and his wife Jessica have two wonderful daughters, one is a recent graduate from Columbia College of Chicago and the other is a recent graduate of The University of Mississippi. Ben is an avid Boston Sports fan and enjoys Classic Muscle Cars.
